The simplicity of the Selkie studs are a delight to wear everyday and are available in both a polish silver and gold vermeil finish. Gold vermeil is a quality layer of 18ct gold on a solid silver base which is a great way to wear gold without the price tag.
The Selkie studs are titled after the majestic stories in Norse and Celtic mythology surrounding the shapeshifting women of the sea the Selkies. The concentric circles echo the movement of water as you enter and emerge from the water. This collection is deeply influenced by Caitlin’s love of cold water immersion which she does regularly in Loch Lomond not far from her studio.
