Skye Sand Wedding Bands

I was delighted to be approached to make wedding bands for this lovely couple. They had two heirloom silver rings that they wanted remade into their wedding bands. Their brief was minimalist rings for everyday wear.

The couple collected a jar of sand from the Isle of Skye where they first went on holiday together. We then used the sand in combination with the ancient process of casting to create uniquely textural rings that capture the essence of their special place.
