Drawing & Creating Jewellery

My practice has always been a relationship between 2D and 3D. I often find my designs start to evolve when I am drawing. The drawings are rarely detailed or complex, but when I draw on paper, I start to see shapes come alive.

I being to think what materials I could use to capture the quality of the line on paper or how I could make the pencil lines 3D. These pencil drawings came alive as a series of brooches made from silver, reclaimed wood and jet.
